Terry Francis20 Sep - 20:56

THE SHRIMPERS LED THREE TIMES BUT EACH TIME WERE PEGGED BACK BY WHITE ENSIGN AND HAD TO SETTLE FOR A DRAW

With 8 minutes gone, Tyler Sullivan was brought down and the referee awarded Harwich a free kick right on the line of the penalty area. Shaun
Avis took the set-piece and his fierce drive curled inches outside the far post.
Harwich winger Zachary Pedro beat two defenders and laid the ball off to Alfie Eldridge whose shot was wide.
White Ensign replied with a well-struck 20-yard shot that went close.
Harwich threatened from corner kicks, with their best effort seeing Dan Keeble's header going inches wide.
Play was end to end but half time came with the match still goalless.

White Ensign were back on terms in the 58th minute when Jack Stone turned a cross from the left flank past Shrimpers diving goalkeeper Brad Cook.
Harwich had chances with Brown saving well at point-blank range and Canning's effort striking the angle of post and crossbar.
White Ensign also mounted good attacks with the Harwich defence scrambling the ball to safety and Cook pulling off a super diving stop at the expense of a corner kick.
Harwich regained the lead in the 73rd minute when Louie Bloom's pass found Alfie Eldridge (pictured), who placed his shot perfectly to beat the diving Brown.
Only a minute later White Ensign equalised again when Arnold Mengi was not picked up, making Harwich pay for slack marking, with a well-taken shot.
Both teams were going for goals and for the third time Harwich took the lead with Eldridge scoring his second goal, neatly beating Brown from close range.

Goals film to be shown as part of anniversary celebrations!
