Club's modern history to be celebrated in HPFC's latest 150th anniversary event which takes place after this weekend's home game with Athletic Newham.
The club will stage its latest 150th anniversary celebratory event – Goals on Film - this coming Saturday (October 4).
In a nod to the modern history of the club, a special film featuring more than 60 HPFC goals scored over the past decade will be shown in the Social Club.
The screening will take place at 5.30pm, following the home Essex Senior League game against Athletic Newham.
Fans are encouraged to attend and it is hoped a number of the current players – many of whom are featured in the film – will also be there.
As well as goals from the current squad, including those from last season’s thrilling play-off final victory over Stanway Pegasus, there are cracking strikes from the likes of ex-Shrimpers Jake Richardson and Ryan McGibbon, as well as a terrific overhead kick from Michael Hammond.
Entrance is free to those attending the match in the afternoon (kick-off 3pm), although a collection will be taken, with money raised going towards the cost of a new tarpaulin to cover the seats in the main stand – and protect them from the pigeons!

The official anniversary of the club's formation in 1875 arrives on October 25 when the first team have a home ESL game against SOUL Tower Hamlets.
