Dates have been set for the Harwich and Parkeston first team’s forthcoming cup fixtures.
Last week’s draw for the third round of the Essex Senior Cup saw the Shrimpers paired with fellow Essex Senior League side Woodford Town.
That match will take place on the Royal Oak on Tuesday October 21, kick-off 7.45pm.
Woodford have led the table for much of the season and have also enjoyed a run to the third qualifying round of the FA Cup, during which they beat Step 3 Bury Town before losing to St Albans City.
In the Essex Senior Cup, Woodford have already defeated Wivenhoe and Rayleigh, while Harwich have beaten Buckhurst Hill and Basildon Town to reach this stage.
Some older Harwich fans will remember the original Woodford Town – the current club is a new incarnation – visiting the Oak in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup in 1986 when the Woods won 2-1.

The Shrimpers gained revenge four years later when Woodford were beaten 3-0 in the semi-finals of the Essex Senior Trophy, a competition Harwich went on to win.
As a result of their Essex Senior Cup progression, Harwich’s Peter Butcher Memorial Trophy home clash with West Essex has been rearranged for Tuesday October 28, kick-off 7.45pm.
The sides have already met in the league this season, Matt Carmichael’s men winning 3-1 on the road.
The first-round tie will be the Shrimpers’ first-ever in what is the ESL’s secondary knockout competition.
The original League Cup – now known as the Errington Challenge Cup – has seen the Shrimpers receive a first-round bye so they will join the action at the last-16 stage.
