‘England Day’ is coming to Harwich and Parkeston FC!
To tie in with the forthcoming international break, the club is aiming to attract extra fans with some special offers for the home game with Ilford on Saturday October 3, kick-off 3pm.
Any season-ticket holders at Ipswich Town or Colchester United (neither of whom have a game that day) will be able enjoy half-price admission into the Essex Senior League clash – that’s £4 for adults and £2.50 for concessions.
And anyone entering the Royal Oak wearing an HPFC or England shirt will be entitled to a free programme, which will include a feature on the players who have represented both Harwich and England.
The club hopes many fans will stay to watch England’s UEFA Nations League game with Croatia, which kicks off at 5pm and will be shown on the TVs in the Social Club, plus – if weather permits – the outdoor beer garden.
