There was a good crowd of almost 100 supporters to witness a very competitive but sporting match.
With the teams in 3rd and 4th positions in the Thurlow Nunn Under-23 League table, this was always going to be a closely contested encounter.
Little Oakley took a first-half lead which, despite the Shrimpers' efforts, they held deep into the second half.
From the Harwich standpoint, goalkeeper Jack Lines impressed with his alertness and safe handling, whilst outfield Omari Obwaya was a source of danger to the Acorns' defence, making penetrating runs and displaying clever ball control.
With time running out, it seemed that Little Oakley would take all 3 points, but Harwich keep battling and were rewarded with a close-range equaliser when Theo Stevenson-Miller's shot crossed the goal-line before being scrambled away.
