Harwich started well and in the first minute took the lead when a handball gave Sean Bartlett the opportunity to covert a penalty kick. For the first 30 minutes Harwich looked equal to their opponents with little inkling of what was to come. Then Dave Limber headed White Ensign's equaliser and this was a signal for the flood gates to open . Five minutes later the Harwich defence was wide open and Luke Skinner took advantage to put White Ensign into the lead. In the 40th minute Ben Austen increased the Vistiors lead and another goal from Domonic Lock saw Harwich trailing 1-4 at half time. Harwich had gone in knowing that they must score the next goal but within minutes of the restart Skinner had made it 5-1 for White Ensign. Harwich were struggling with the new players who had come in having had no time to knit together against a team, who, with so many games in hand, look good enough to challenge for a top spot. Player Manager Bret Maynard netted White Ensigns sixth goal and after Harwich woes increased with Dan Clarke sent off, Connor Barnby completed the scoring with the viistors 7th goal.
