Harwich attacked from the start creating chances with Joe Knight heading just off target, Jordan Heath inches away from a break through and then Sean Bartlett saw his header strike the crossbar. Also for Harwich, Rory Harman's shot hit the crossbar and Wormley keeper Tom Cranfield made some good saves. With the Shrimpers having 13 efforts on goal against 2 by Wormley it was amazing that the score at half time was 0-0 with the visitors still in the match. Five minutes into the second half Harwich at last scored the goal which they deserved, Dan Clarke 's header being pushed out by Cranfield and Knight on the spot to net. Five minutes later the Shrimpers mounted a neat move with Harman passing to Bartlett who put Heath through to score their second goal with a fine finish. Harwich continued to impress. Kevin Coyle's shot rattleing the goal stanchion and Clarke's header the crossbar. The Shrimpers third goal came in the 80th minute with substitute Quentin Daly unselfishly passing to Bartlett who turned to find space and then clinically placed his shot past Cranfield.
