LATE GOALS GIVE HARWICH & PARKESTON VICTORY IN GOOD FRIENDLY WITH WTIHAM TEAM

Harwich included some new faces in their squad and were grateful to Witham for stepping and providing excellent opposition for this friendly fixture. The Shrimpers came close in the first half with an effort hitting the post before the rebound was pounced upon by the goalkeeper. Sam Felgate in the Harwich goal was also alert making some good stops and at the break the scoreline remained goaless. The game continued to be end to end with the Witham keeper saving a penalty kick. The break through for Harwich came when Harrry Miller netted with a looping cross which went into the far corner of the roof of the net. Jordan Heath then scored with a well taken shot to ensure victory for the Shrimpers.
