Harwich welcomed back Joe Knight from injury and he sfiffened up their defence which stood up much better to pressure than on Saturday. The first half was a battle for midfield supremacy with the most dramatic moment coming in the 40th minute when Harwich goalkeeper Sam Felgate saved Louis Newlands powerfully struck penalty kick. Holland took the lead in the 59th minute when substitute Bailey Barnard hammered his shot past Felgate. Harwich equalised 3 minutes later when Adie Cant's well placed corner kick was converted by Dan Clarke. With Holland having the best strikes on goal, Felgate was to prove his worth tipping a piledriver from Jimmy Webb over the crossbar although he was beaten by Steve Eaton's excellent looping shot that struck the far post. Harwich had a good share of the play but it was defender Clarke who shone for them with two goaline clearances. Two points dropped on Saturday but in the context of tonight's game, Harwich may look on this as a point won.
