Harwich in good form to overcome Cornard in the Division One Cup.

Harwich made an excellent start within the first 5 minutes when Aide Cant sent Kevin Coyle away down the left flank and from his cross Jordan Heath neatly slipped the ball into the net. In the 25th minute Ashley Rankin scored Cornard's equaliser but a minute later Harwich regained the lead through Coyle. The goal rush continued when 4 minutes later another well constructed Harwich attack culminated with Charley Cook cracking in the Shrimpers third goal. Harwich had their shooting boots on tonight and Coyle was on target again to increase their lead to 4-1 at half time. After the break the goals dried up for a while but the Shrimpers fifth goal came when substitute Ross Purll slipped a neat pass through to skipper Heath who finished well to beat the advancing goalkeeper.
