Lewis Wood headed just over the bar when Oakley won a corner but in the 34th minute Jordan Heath provided a slide rule pass into the path of Rose and he took the opportunity well to give the Acorns keeper Dan joyce no chance with his shot. After the break it continued to be a tight game with Joyce saving well when Rose followed up and looked likely to net the Shrimpers third goal. When the Acorns came back, Harwich full back Harry Johnston made a timely goalmouth. interception to stop a dangerous attack.
