Harwich took the lead in the opening minutes when Ryan Heath worked his way out on the left and from near the bye line powered the ball accross the goal and keeper Cade-Watts could only touch the ball on its way into the far corner of the net. Hashtag came back but with the excitment mounting Jordan Heath increased Harwich lead in the 36th minute with an opportunist goal that went in off the post. Before half time Ryan Adams stapped the ball into the Harwich net to set up a pulsating second half.
Hashtag would not let Harwich settle and the the Shrimpers were uncharacteristically using long clearances in an effort to set up attacks. The vistiors continuted to look dangerous and Harwich defended as though their lives depended on it with clearances as the ball was hammered into their penalty area. Shrimpers keeper Sam Felgate distinguished himself as a shot bounced up in front of him by tipping the ball over the bar. As the game entered the final period, Harwich came back to test Hashtag's defence in an end to end finish to a thriller.
Harwich Managment team of Kieran Shelley and Michael Wallace were overjoyed with their team's battling victory in a season that is providing
great entertainment in the Shrimpers comeback to Senior football.
