Two goal second half defecit too much for Harwich

Harwich made a good start and took the lead in the 4th minute when Sean Gunn setp up the on coming Joe Knight who drove the ball home from the edge of the box. The Shrimpers dominated the early stages with Gunn and Shaun Mathurian dangerous. For Hashtag Harry Honesty had a chance and a deflected shot from Ryan Adams was saved by goalkeeper Sam Felgate as the home side came into the game. Harwich had strong claims for a penalty when Jordan Heath was pulled down but Hashtag got away with it. Hashtag equalised in the 37th minute when Neil Richmond scored at the near post. A minute before half time Gunn had a good chance but fired over, his shot clipping the crossbar.
Hashtag scored a telling goal in the 49th minute, again through Richmond. Midway through the second half a poor goal kick was seized up by Honesty to increase Hashtag's lead. Harwich brought on their 3 substitutes in an effort to come back but it was not until the closing stages that following a corner Jordan Heath pulled a goal back.
