Harwich started well but Fire came back and broke through the home defence in the 30th minute for Gabriel Dias to sccore in a one to one situation. Harwich equalised 5 minutes later when Jake Kioussis crossed and Jordan Heath netted with a glancing header the went in just inside the post. The Shrimpers took the lead before half time with Jake Kioussis curling in a well placed free kick taken from just outside the penalty box. The Fire team were composed of mainly players from the London Brazilian community and they displayed cleverness but also had a physical side to their game. Harwich were inclined to give away free kicks when not necessary and the game was evenly poised in the second half. The Shrimpers needed another goal to stay on top and it came in the 74th minute when Jordan Heath scored from the penalty spot. Harwich now looked impressive and Sean Gunn, who had worked hard throughout, ran through to net the Shrimpers fourth goal. There was less than 10 minutes left but in this league you must be on guard until the final whistle and Harwich conceeded two late goals again.
