White Ensign took the lead in the 17th minute when Domonic Locke netted a well taken goal . To the delight of the home supporters Harwich were level on the half hour with Jamie Beecham slipping the ball through and jordan Heath disposesing the visitors goalkeeper before scoring. The slick White Ensign attackers were finding space in the home rearguard and the Shirmpers were punished, Sewell nipping in to put his team ahead again and then John Helyard running through for their 3rd goal. At 1-3 down Harwich were in trouble but just before half time Nicky Palmer sent them in feeling happier when he scored following a corner to make it close at 2-3. Ten minutes after the restart White Ensign suffered a blow when they had a player sent off. Harwich soon made good use of their advantage, Jake Richardson equalising with a thunderbolt drive from the edge of the penalty area that hit both post and crossbar before rocketing into the net. Whtie Ensign then defended well as Harwich sought a winner and broke away to earn some dangerous corner kicks. In the end a draw was a fair result and the Harwich Management team were pleased to have comeback from a 2 goal deficit and put a point on the board.
