West Bergholt score 3 goals in 5 minutes to sink Harwich

Liam Springett gave West Bergholt the lead in the 35th minute with a thunderbolt free kick and a couple of minutes later netted again, this time from the penalty spot. In the 40th minute Perry Newman added West Bergholt's 3rd goal leaving the Shrimpers with a mountain to climb to get back into the game. Harwich played better in the second half but West Bergholt were a smart outfit and the Shrimpers could not dent their lead. Ollie Lamb went close for Harwich with a header from a corner whilst the Shrimpers goalkeeper Tom Wood made a super save to tip another pile dirver free kick from Springett over the crossbar when the former Harwich player was looking for his hat trick.
