Disappointing second half performance sees Harwich heaviest league defeat of season

Brantham took the lead after only 8 minutes when Elthan Abrahams netted from close range. Harwich came close to equalising in the 14th minute when Luke Barnard's shot rattled the crossbar before bouncing clear. The remainder of the half was closely contested with no hint of what was to follow. Early in the second half Jack Sibbons increased Brantham's lead and then their experience shone through as they took control. Harwich confidence evapourated and although Lewis King headed just over the bar for them, this was a rare threat. George Stiles scored twice and then completed his hat trick in the last minute.
