Harwich rescue a point with a late goal

Wormingford took the lead in the 35th minute with a terrific free kick from Martin Curtis into the corner of the net. Luke Barnard took
two free kicks for Harwich but although he was close with his second he could not match Curtis super strike. Wanderers deserved their half time lead but midway through the second period good work by Brad Westley saw Barnard crisply shoot the Shrimpers equaliser. This fired Harwich up to have their best spell but then 10 minutes later Curtis restored Wormingford's lead. With time running out it looked as though it was to be a disappoining afternoon for Harwich but Alex Akinola broke through on the right and rolled his shot into the far corner of the net and give the Shrimpers a welcome share of the spoils.
