The Shrimpers continued their climb up the table and although not at full strength gave a satisfying performance.

The Shrimpers got off to a flying start with Matt Geen soon giving them the lead with a clinical finish. They continued to be on top with Jake Neale glancing home Brad Smith's free kick to put them 2-0 ahead at half time. After the break Leon Beaumont brought Earls Colne into the game, giving keeper Tom Wood no chance with his shot. The visitors confidence was boosted and Harwich now faced a challenge. Lewis King scored an important 3rd goal for the Shrimpers to take the pressure off. Earls Colne were deflated but kept trying but when their keeper was unable to hold Geen's shot the alert Shrimpers striker followed up to net his second goal and put thei result beyond any doubt.
