Top class first half dispaly ensures Harwich victory

Harwich took the lead in thee 3rd minute when Andy Gibbons cross was headed back by Neville Barrartt. Barratt was prominent again hitting the crossbar and later setting up Sam Thompson who was off target. Despite a bit of pressure the home side made little headway against the Harwich defence. Harwich were gifted a second goal in the 25th minute when the home keeper fumbled Ashley Wood's free kick and Olly Lamb nipped in to score. On 30 minutes a 30 yard schremer from Ashley Wood gave Harwich a 3-0 half time lead.
Holland tightened up and were more competent in the second half although Harwich continued to make the most chances. In the 80th minute Charlie Cook completed the scoring by volleying home following a half cleared corner.
The only downside for Harwich was the loss of the impressive Neville Barratt in the 70th minute to a muscle injury.
