Harwich unable to reproduce first half form

After even exchanges during the opening 15 minutes, Coggeshall took the lead with a well taken shot from Tyrone Scarlett. Ashley Stein was impressive for Harwich and made an opening from which Ashley Wood shot wide. A speculative punt inside his own half byOllie Lamb had Coggeshall goalkeeper De Felice scrambling to tip the ball over for a corner. Bradley Smith levelled the scores for Harwich with a free kick. Just before half time Harwich keeper Jordan Giddings pulled off a fine save from Jack Johnson. It had been an evenly contested half with the 1-1 scoreline a fair reflection.
Harwich were caught napping at the start of the second half and Scarlett restored the visitors lead and he was latter denied his hat trick by a goaline clearance. Harwich could not regain their first half form and in stoppage time subsistute Russell Lamb sliced the ball into his own net to give Coggeshall their third goal.
