Geen's first goal was a powerfull drive and his second resulted from good build up by his team mates. Number 3 was bent into the top corner of the net and the 4th was an excellent goal from a difficult angle. 4-0 at half time it seemed that Harwich would run riot in the second half but they stuttered and growing in confidence the young Wanderers team battled hard. Geen rocked the post with a volley but then in a major blow for Harwich was helped off with a nasty leg injury. Good work resulted in Sam Thompson scoring Harwich 5th goal but this was an isolated bright spot in this period and Wanderers got a consolation goal when a defender could only turn Ryan Milbourne's well struck shot into his own net. Despite conceeding five, goalkeeper Alex McGreggor was Wanderers star player.
