Sharp Brantham attackers edge out Harwich

Brantham took the lead in the 30th minute when Harwich keeper Sam Felgate failed to collect the ball and Simon Mann headed home. Harwich were on terms in the 60th minute when Micheal Hammond neatly headed into the far corner of the net from Bradley Smith's accurate corner kick. The Shrimpers joy was short lived as 5 minutes later Simon Mann deftly placed his shot past the advancing Felgate and into an empty net. Brantham were firmly in control within another couple of minutes with Harry Parks finding a gaping space in the Shrimpers defence and finishing with aplomb to put his side 3-1 up. Harwich did grab a second goal in the last minute when Charlie Cook was fouled and Matt Geen converted from the penalty spot.
