Finishing proves the big difference as Harwich knocked out

Harwich had a chance in the 4th minute when Gavin Mann put Craig Martin through but his shot was just past the post. Two minutes later Weeley took the lead through Roy Nash. The visitng keeper made a fine diving save to turn Matt Geen's shot out for a corner but goals from Rus McLean and Heffer gave Weeley a commanding lead by the midway stage.
Harwich had the best of the second half and should have reduced the lead. For the Shrimpers Jake Neale was unable to keep his shot down when clean through and Craig Martin had a couple of snap shots from dangerous positions. Harwich kept pressing but were frustrated that they could not get a telling shot on target. McClean got his second goal to emphasise how good Weeley are at snapping up their opportunities and it was all over for Harwich.
