Three important points for Harwich in their quest for mid table position

Harwich took a deserved lead midway through the first half when Michael Murray scored with an excellent 20 yard shot into the top corner of the net. The home goalkeeper impressed and pulled off some fine saves to prevent the Shrimpers from increasing their lead.
White Notley were in a similar position to Harwich in the league and aftert the break proved more of a threat. Harwich needed a second goal to secure the points and it came with about 15 minutes to go with a neat move started by Murray who passed to Darren Bethell and he set up the opportunity for Michael Hammond to stroke the ball into the corner of the net.
