Defences were on top throughout with central defenders Ben Hammond and Adam Eldridge for Little Oakley and Daryl Eagle and Jake Neale for Harwich outstanding.
Although the match was evenly contested Michael Hammond in the Oakley goal had more chance to shine and he did well to dive out and scoop Darren Bethell's cross to safety with the Harwich attackers waiting to swoop. Little Oakley mounted a dangerous attack and when the ball flew across the face of the goal, Shaun Muthrin was just unable to get a good connection on his shot.
Scoring chances continued to be few and far between in the second half. Ashley Wood went close for Harwich when he bent his shot just outside the far post whilst in the closing minutes Daryl Elmer headed inches past the Harwich post.
A fair result to the game leaves the teams locked together in third place in the Division with Little Oakley having a game in hand.
