The Shrimpers reached their highest spot of the season but Barnston Reserves withdrawal for League means table must be adjusted.

Harwich have taken 6 points from Barnston Reserves who have only a one point total from the season and so the final outcome should be a fair reflection.
The Shrimpers continued to show how much stronger they are than at the start of the season with convincing victory over neighbours Bradfield Rovers. Harwich do tend to take time to settle and the Rovers went close in the early stages through Tony Moore and Chris Upton. John Stace gave Harwich the lead in the 32nd minute when he was too strong for the visitors defence. Eight minutes later Ashley Wood's shot struck a defender and Harwich were two goals ahead. In the second half the Shrimpers were too powerful for Bradfield with Darren Bethell increasing the lead in the 63rd minute from Matt Stace through pass. Substitute strkers Robbie Marks and Craig Martin came on and both scored well taken goals.
