Convincing victory for Harwich takes them back to 5th place in the table

Harwich took the lead in the 24th minute with an alert finish by Mark Palmer. The Shrimpers were the best team in the first half but it was after the break that they really went on to dominate. Darren Bethell had come on at half time and he was a constant thorn in the home sides defence. It was from his free kick that Steve Oldhamstead netted the Harwich second goal at the far post in the 59th minute. Victory was done an dusted 2 minutes later when, following good work by Michael Palmer, Bethell shot the thrid goal.
