Harwich beaten by last minute goal

Harwich had an escape in the 10th minute when Josh Milburn’s shot struck both uprights before being cleared. The Shrimpers took the lead in the 37th minute when Jimmy Chatters broke through and forced the ball home.
Byron Higgons deservedly equalised for Arlesford 5 minutes after half time. On a very heavy pitch third placed Arlesford looked worthy of their lofty position and Harwich were forced to defend stubbornly to stay in the game. It looked as though Harwich would hold out for a point until Arlesford made a final push and in the very last minute forced a corner from which Jamie Shaw shot the goal which gave them victory.
