Harwich put the disappointment of last week narrow defeat behind them and were never in danger of losing this match and in fact should have won by a much greater margin.
Harwich took the lead in the 10th minute through Darren Bethell but were quickly pegged back when Louis Smart equalised for the visitors. The Shrimpers got back on top but did not regain the lead until just before half time when Tom Brannan followed up to score.
After the break Harwich missed two opportunities to score from penalty kicks, both taken by Bethell. In the 57th minute his first spot kick was saved and then 3 minutes later his second hit the crossbar.
Harwich third goal came when Daryl Johnston forced the ball over the goal line.
