A storming second half display earned Harwich a well deserved point against high flying West Bergholt.

The first half was evenly contested with the goal less score line a fair reflection. Josh Dalziel gave West Bergholt the lead with a well taken shot in the 55th minute but from then on Harwich were the better team forcing the visitors to defend resolutely and it looked as though they were going to hold out for three points to strengthen their second in the league position. In the 79th minute justice was done when Mark Palmer netted the equaliser with a 20 yard shot from an angle which dipped to deceive the keeper before nestling in the corner of the net.
