Goal scoring chances were few and far between but the game was never dull. Harwich were relying on Jimmy Chatters to provide the goal scoring spark and he worked hard but was adjudged marginally offside in his two clear runs on goal. Louie Newland was always a threat for Holland and he scored the vital goal in the 61st minute when he took advantage of a slip in the Harwich defence and finished well. Holland’s celebrations at the final whistle showed how much this victory meant to them and whilst Harwich were disappointed that their efforts went unrewarded there is still a long way to go this season.
