Harwich run out comfortable winners

Harwich took the lead in the 5th minute when Jimmy Chatters scored with a crisp shot. The same player was on target again in the 17th minute also with another fine finish. The Shrimpers had a golden chance in the 47th minute when Michael Palmer was brought down but Tom Brannan put his penalty kick over the crossbar. At last Harwich found the net again in the 70th minute when their skipper Michael Maclachlan shot their third goal. Earls Colne took advantage of a mistake in the home defence and Connor Simmons scored a consolation goal.
