Shrimpers victorious in their first home game

Jimmy Chatters opened the scoring in the 14th minute when after Mark Palmer provided the cross, he lobbed the ball home. University also had early season changes from their expected line up but although they played neat football, it was Harwich who looked the more dangerous throughout the first half.
The Shrimpers second goal came in the 55th minute when the hard working Tom Brannan netted after linking up well with Michael Palmer. The game never reached any great heights but Harwich deserved their victory.
