Harwich won an eventful match at Sible Hedingham in which fortunes see sawed dramatically. Harwich took the lead after only 2 minutes when Nicky Palmer netted following Robbie May’s free kick. Five minutes later Tom Cook netted Hedingham’s equaliser. In the 12th and 15th minutes Jordan Heath scored twice following corners to give Harwich a 3-1 lead which they deservedly held at half time. In the 60th minute a Brad Amos goal put United back in contention. The Shrimpers lost their discipline and shape resulting in Amos equalising in the 73rd minute. Harwich were in danger of dropping two vital championship points for the second week running until the 87th minute when Daryl Johnston headed them back in front. Substitute Ashley Brundle scored the Shrimpers 5th goal in the 89th minute and 3 important points were securely on their way back to the Royal Oak.
