Harwich battled to gain victory in a rather scrappy game . The Shrimpers made it difficult for themselves early on by failing to convert their chances but midway through the half Jay Eggerichs managed to find the back of the net after a scramble in the penalty box to give them the lead. In the secondhalf, playing against the wind and battling up the slope, Harwich struggled to find their rhythm. Consequently when out of nowhere the home side equalised the Shrimpers found themselves in a battle. It was then that Harwich showed their character and resilience with substitute Conner Lebrett going on a positive run behind the home defence only to be brought down. Rob Good stepped up to confidently convert the resultant penalty and make it 2-1 in Harwchi favour. Shortly after Sam Taylor produced a moment of magic to put Rob Good through to score his second goal. Although it was a below par performance by Harwich they finish the weekend on top of the Division and so a big well done to their Managers Gavin Hewitt, Gregg Borthwick and the Team.
