Stanway Villa 3 - 0 Harwich & Parkeston Blues Under 13's

Harwich started against the wind and defended resolutely for 30 minutes in a new 4-2-3-1 formation restricting title favourites Stanway to a few shots from distance and a couple of inswinging corners but two soft goals just before the break gave Harwich a mountain to climb.

There was no lack of endeavour in the second half as Harwich committed players forward in search of a break through but there was little end product on the day against a well organised side and a goal in the final minute gave Stanway a rather flattering but overall deserved win.

Ryan was voted man of the match for a typical all action display and the boys deserve credit for competing to the end in really difficult conditions.
