Harwich failed to reach top gear as they struggled in the windy conditions against a packed defence. Despite dominating possession from kick off Harwich looked anxious as they couldn't convert their early chances against a resolute Reed Hall side defending in numbers. The match was 12 minutes old when an exchange of passes between James E and Jenson released Ryan who drilled the ball into the bottom corner to break the deadlock. This opened the floodgates and further first half goals from Jerome, Ryan, Max (2) and an own goal gave Harwich an unassailable half time lead.
Half Time - Harwich 6 - 0 Reed Hall
Jenson and Jerome added to their impressive scoring stats with second half strikes to take their individual tally's so far this season to 7 and 9 respectively. The back three of Thomas, George and Max in front of George R looked solid as Harwich closed out the match with a clean sheet.
Full Time - Harwich 8 - 0 Reed Hall
Man of the Match was Ryan combining his work rate with 2 well taken goals.
Harwich can consider this a job well done without quite reaching the performance levels of previous weeks.
