2024/25 Thurlow Nunn League season to begin at Broad Lane on Tuesday July 30.

The first team will kick-off their new Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League campaign with a trip to Wivenhoe on Tuesday July 30, it has been announced.
The First Division North season actually begins three days earlier but we will have no game on that day.
Instead, the opening match will come at Broad Lane against their Essex rivals, a fixture the Shrimpers won 2-0 last season.
The first home game of the season will be on Saturday August 3 when Diss Town will visit the Royal Oak.
Three days later, we will entertain another fellow Essex side, Holland, under the Oak lights.
The full season’s fixtures will not be released until the leagues at Step 3 and 4 have published their own lists. This is due to there being several groundshares in the division.
Meanwhile, Matt Carmichael’s side have been handed two byes in cup competitions.
The Shrimpers will host either Basildon Town or Rayleigh Town in the second qualifying round of the FA Vase on Saturday September 21.
Both teams are members of ECL Division One South, Rayleigh having won promotion out of the Essex Olympian League last season.
There is also a bye in the League Cup.
Round one is due to be completed on August 8 so the draw for round two is likely to come shortly after that date.
