Tin-foil FA Cups go hand in hand with the world’s most famous football competition – and we want our young fans to make them!
As excitement builds around the club’s return to FA Cup action on Saturday, we have launched a children’s competition to win a Harwich and Parkeston shirt.
To enter, all you have to do is make your own tin-foil cut-out FA Cup and bring it along to the Shrimpers’ extra preliminary round home tie against AFC Dunstable on Saturday (August 2, kick-off 3pm). This will be HPFC’s first FA Cup match in six years and under-16s can watch the game free of charge.
The competition, open to anyone under the age of 16, will be judged at half time with the designer of the best shiny replica being rewarded with a Harwich first-team shirt.
After the competition, please recycle your tin-foil cup using local recycling facilities.
We look forward to seeing all the entries!
