Harwich and Parkeston’s FA Vase tie this weekend will take place at Harlow Town, as originally planned.
The Spartan South Midlands League side were forced to reverse their recent FA Cup clash with Frenford – which they lost 1-0 – due to problems with their 3G pitch.
However, following work on the artificial surface this week, the FA on Thursday gave the pitch the green light and the tie will take place at the Harlow Arena on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
The winners of the all-Step 5 tie will face Step 6 opposition in the second qualifying round.
May & Baker or London Harts United, both of whom play in the Thurlow Nunn League’s Division One South, await the side victorious in Harlow.
The tie will be decided on the day with the contest being decided by a penalty shoot-out if scores are level after 90 minutes.
