Harwich and Parkeston will stay in the Essex Senior League for the 2026/27 season.
The FA published its league allocations on Thursday with the Shrimpers remaining in the ESL for a second season.
In a difference to last term, there will now be trips to newly-promoted Clapton CFC, who play at the historic Old Spotted Dog ground in Forest Gate, and Hutton, who groundshare at Billericay Town.
There will also be a return to Heybridge Swifts, who have just been relegated from the Isthmian League.
Clubs leaving the ESL are champions Little Oakley, play-off winners Buckhurst Hill and relegated Athletic Newham.
£4-a-pint offer for FA Cup final!
After finishing second bottom, Frenford have received a relegation reprieve.
Frenford are one of four teams who will play on an artificial pitch, the others being Hutton, Barking and Romford.
There are now nine trips inside the M25 to make – one less than last season.
However, with the local derby with Oakley no more, our closest neighbours are now Hackney Wick, who play at Witham. Only three away matches will be within an hour’s drive, the others being Halstead and Heybridge.
A start date for the 2026/27 ESL campaign is yet to be announced.
Last year, the season began on Saturday July 26. The opening fixtures were released on June 22, with the full season list announced on July 22.
When the action does get under way, we will be looking to improve on our 13th-place finish in our inaugural ESL campaign.
The FA rejected the option to move the club into the Eastern Counties League’s Premier Division, instead handing lateral Step 5 moves to Cambridgeshire sides Wisbech Town and March Town United to make up its numbers.
