Former Sponge Man's funeral details
Former Harwich and Parkeston sponge man Alan Mann passed away on 16th May.
Alan - pictured in the back row (far right) of the 1968/69 team photo - was with the Shrimpers during the 60s and 70s and the club send their condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.
Alan's funeral will be held at Weeley Crematorium on Friday 21st June at 2pm. Family flowers only but donations can be made to Dementia UK. Alan's friends are invited to celebrate his life and share memories at the United Services Club from 3pm.
