The club’s new pin badge will go on sale this weekend.
The new badge has been produced to link in with the club’s 150th anniversary which will be celebrated in 2025.
A special crest has been created for the anniversary and is being used on the pin badge, which will cost £4 and can be purchased from the tea hut, starting at Saturday’s home Thurlow Nunn League game with Holbeach United (kick-off 3pm).
The new crest features various elements relating to club history, including the portcullis and ship from the club’s official crest, as well as a shrimp, similar to the one worn on the shirts the day HPFC played in the FA Amateur Cup final at Wembley in 1953.
As shown, the badge also features the figures ‘1875-2025’.
Keyrings marking the club’s 150th birthday are also available – you can buy a badge and a keyring together for £5.
Other club merchandise is also on sale at the tea hut, including beanie hats, scarves, caps and mugs – all would make good Christmas gifts for any HPFC fan! This season’s home shirts, priced £20, can also be ordered.
Harwich and Parkeston FC was officially formed at a meeting at the Three Cups Hotel in Church Street on October 25th 1875.
Plans to celebrate the occasion during the 2025/26 season are currently being drawn up – watch this space!
