Harwich and Parkeston FC's new pin badge will be on sale for the first time at this Saturday’s Non-League Day game against Little Oakley.
The badges, which arrived this week, feature the club’s new crest, which was announced at Christmas.
It now includes the words ‘Harwich and Parkeston Football Club’, as well as the formation date of 1875.
The new, modern crest design, which aims to take the club into a new era, retains the key elements of the original one, based on the town’s coat of arms, which dates back to the 18th Century.
The badges will be on sale – priced £4 each - from our merchandise stand, near the tea hut, on Saturday (March 28). Remember kick-off is at 12 noon!
A special crest was created last year to help celebrate the club’s 150th anniversary. Some of the pin badges featuring the anniversary crest are still available to buy, too, along with other HPFC items, such as mugs, scarves and hats.
