The Royal Oak will play host to the Harwich Primary Schools Girls’ League final on Saturday (April 18).
The girls’ competition only began last season and this year’s final will be the first to be played on the Oak. It will see Mayflower take on Wix and Wrabness. Kick-off is at 10am.
There is free entry for spectators, who will also be able to buy refreshments from the tea hut – cash only please.
The club looks forward to welcoming the players and coaches from both schools and hope everyone enjoys their day at our 128-year-old ground.
The game is part of a busy day at the Oak. With the Under-23s' clash with Long Melford off, the HPFC 'A' team will now face Elmstead Market in the afternoon, kick-off 3pm.
Schools’ football will return to the Oak next month when the Fisherman’s Cup final takes place on Saturday May 9, kick-off 10.30am. With that competition ongoing, the finalists are yet to be decided.
