The Royal Oak has been chosen to play host to an FA Inter League Cup tie on Saturday February 7.
The Essex & Suffolk Border League - of which the club's 'A' team is a member - will take on the Southern Amateur League in the first round of the competition, kick-off 3pm.
Admission will be £5, with concessions £3.
The tea hut will be open for hot food and drinks - cash payments only - and the social club will open at noon.
With the first team and under-23s both away that day - at Buckhurst Hill and Stanway Rovers respectively - local fans are encouraged to come and cheer on the Border League rep side.
