The Harwich and Parkeston first team have finalised their pre-season fixtures.
Following the news that the Essex Senior League campaign will kick-off on Saturday August 1, managers Matt Carmichael and Sean Tynan have added an extra friendly to their programme.
Suffolk and Ipswich League side Ransomes Sports will visit the Royal Oak on Saturday July 25 for a game which will conclude the Shrimpers’ pre-season campaign.
The match will likely see a return to the Oak for 2024/25 promotion hero Danny Garrad (pictured), who starred for Ransomes last season, helping them claim promotion to Step 7 of the Non-League Pyramid and win the Suffolk Junior Cup at Portman Road last month.
Meanwhile, player news from the first team is that Alfie Canning will be staying at the Oak for the 2026/27 season. He joins Louie Bloom in committing his future to the club.
