Full fixture list for 2026/27 Essex Senior League season now known - Shrimpers at home on Boxing Day.

The full 2026/27 Essex Senior League fixture list has been released.
The schedule shows Harwich and Parkeston will be at home on Boxing Day against Heybridge Swifts.
The reverse fixture, against a side recently relegated from the Isthmian League, will take place on Easter Saturday (March 27) as part of Non-League Day weekend which, this season, is being held across the entire Easter period.
It was already known that the Shrimpers would kick-off their second season in the ESL at home to Hutton on Saturday August 1, the game having been switched to the Royal Oak with neither side wanting to play on Friday at Billericay, where Hutton groundshare.
There is no midweek game in the first week of the season, so the opening Tuesday-night fixture is due to be at home to Hullbridge on August 11. However, that game will only take place as long as neither side is involved in an FA Cup replay. Harwich host Mildenhall in the opening round of that competition on August 8.

In total, four midweek rounds have been scheduled, although Harwich have been handed away games for the other three – Hackney Wick (Sep 23), Hullbridge (Oct 6) and Hutton (Oct 27).
The first away trip is not until September 5 when the Shrimpers will head to Great Wakering’s Burroughs Park, which was also their first away game last season.
The regular-season campaign is due to end on Saturday April 17 with Basildon United visiting the Oak that day.
The ESL champions will be promoted to the Isthmian League. Sides finishing second to fifth qualify for the play-offs. At the other end of the table, the bottom two will be relegated.
