Louie Bloom wins supporters' and players' player of the year awards at club's annual presentation night.

Louie Bloom was the big winner at the annual Harwich and Parkeston FC awards night.
The forward picked up the prestigious supporters’ player of the year award and was also voted by his team-mates as their best player of 2025/26.
Louie finished as the first team’s top scorer in the campaign, netting 13 goals. He duly also collected the club’s ‘Golden Boot’ prize.
Defender Charlie Canham was chosen as managers’ player of the year by Matt Carmichael and Sean Tynan, while youngster Alfie Canning received the chairman’s player of the year gong.
Keeper Brad Cook was handed a special award to recognise his achievement of playing in every game of the season. That feat had not been achieved by a Shrimper in senior football since the 1981/82 campaign when both Bobby Hanks and Graham Fletcher featured in every match.

Erin Hornby and Chloe Green shared the players’ player of the year award for the women’s side after earning the same number of votes, while Johanna Lord was picked out by the management team.
A special mention goes to their top scorer Tasha Lammond, who netted 35 goals as the Shrimpers finished fifth in Division Three of the Essex County Women’s League. Only one player in the division scored more.
The Under-23 players chose Jeremiah Ajisafe as their player of the year, while Rory Breen picked up the managers’ prize.
And Jack Milne was named players’ player of the year at Under-18 level, with Archie Rogers-Bell the managers’ choice.

Pre-season fixtures announced

The clubman of the year award was this year shared by committee member Daniel Rogers, who does so much work off the field throughout the year, and Under-23 and 18s boss Luke Harrison.
Meanwhile, a new award, named after late former chairman Barry Vernon, was presented to current joint-chairman Colin Rogers. The special honour has been created to recognise long-term passion and commitment at the club.
The presentation evening, held at the Social Club on Friday, also saw five new life members of HPFC created.
Current first-team boss Matt Carmichael, long-term supporter Caroline Clements, catering volunteer Abi Goodwin, matchday secretary Danny McLaughlin and Andy Schooler Jr, who played a leading role in the club’s 150th anniversary celebrations in 2025, were the latest to join what is an exclusive list.
